Paul Adams Partner
Paul is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of accountancy, taxation and corporate business matters in the UK and Internationally.
In 1992, Paul set up his own practice at Branston Adams Accountants in Farnham and specialises in owner managed businesses; professional practices (notably IFA’s; solicitors and surveyors); property matters; mergers and acquisitions; sales of businesses; together with all types of on-going commercial and business contracts. Paul’s sound business acumen along with a practical and conscientious approach has been the basis for consistently good growth performance of both his clients and the Branston Adams practice.
In 1999, he set up a partnership, SP Tax Ltd, to provide tax and accounting services specifically for Danish Nationals living or investing in the UK.
Outside the office, Paul is a keen cricket coach (and will happily talk about cricket for hours if allowed!). He enjoys trips to the cinema, going to the theatre and concerts.
Richard Luff Practice Manager, ACCA
Richard has been with Branston Adams since 2010, progressing up the management ladder.
Richard deals with all aspects of accountancy, audit, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and payroll, whilst managing the practice.
Richard enjoys working with clients; helping them to achieve their aspirations and goals.
In his spare time Richard enjoys playing football and golf - both of which he is still trying to master!
Debbie Lloyd Accountant, ACCA
Debbie joined the team at the start of 2017, working on a part time basis. Debbie has worked in practice for almost 20 years, starting out in the West country before moving to work in Hampshire and Surrey. Debbie’s role comprises all aspects of owner managed accounts, VAT, audit and bookkeeping.
In her spare time Debbie enjoys spending time with the family, going on walks and the theatre. She also enjoys swimming.
Hannah Styles Accountant, ACCA
Hannah joined the team at the start of 2017 and works for us on a part-time basis. She became ACCA qualified in 2012 while working at a local firm of accountants and then worked for a small firm in London before going on maternity leave.
She currently deals with accountancy, bookkeeping, VAT and tax matters for a variety of clients. She also provides services and assistance in the set-up training and running of bookkeeping systems, specifically those which are cloud based.”
Dan Churchill Accountant, Payroll Manager, MAAT
Dan joined the company in 2011.
His role includes completing company accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns. Dan also manages the payroll team and clients at Branston Adams.
He is currently studying for his ACCA qualification and in his spare time enjoys skiing, playing pool, hiking and cycling.
Jenny Brooks Accountant, AAT
Having joined the team during 2012, Jenny has since qualified with AAT and is working her way through the various aspects of accountancy. As one of our accountants Jenny is experienced in the completion of company accounts and tax returns, VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, and self-assessment returns. Jenny also assists with the management of various housing associations and the on-going work in relation to our sister company SP Tax Limited.
Her spare time is mostly spent going out with friends, frequent trips to the pub, and as many trips abroad she can squeeze!
Amanda Ballard Senior Office Manager
Having joined us in July 2015 to look after the administrative side of the Company along with trying to organise Paul and the office. Amanda also assists with various Company Secretarial matters including Company Formations, Confirmation Statements, our registered office facility and dealing with the firm’s own internal book keeping records.
In her spare time, Amanda produces the most amazing cakes and is busy looking after her family.
Connor Smith Trainee Accountant/Accounts Trainee
Connor started with us in 2016 and is studying for his AAT qualification.
His role generally consists of providing assistance to the other accountants, preparation of accounts, payrolls, VAT returns and is also hands on with Self-Assessment Tax Return matters. He enjoys the variation of tasks that he tackles on a daily basis and willingly accepts all challenges that await him as he progresses throughout his training.
His spare time is largely spent tuning and tweaking his car to ensure it is performing at its best for the various track and show events he attends. On the rare occasion Connor isn’t busy tinkering with his car, he is usually strengthening his existing motoring knowledge.
Lauren Ballard Apprentice Administrator
Lauren joined the team March 2018 to study for her Business Administrator Apprenticeship. Lauren is usually the first member of our team you speak to or meet and will happily greet you with a beverage upon your arrival.
